JCDPA History
Brief Rundown
JCDPA began as an interest in historical photos and aerial archives of Johnson County, which inspired a shift in focus towards documenting current and ongoing development projects. The founders aimed to capture project details and progress to create a comprehensive archive, providing a more detailed and accurate picture of the changes in the community.
Where We Are Today
JCDPA is in the startup phase and is currently taking aerial and ground photos of infrastructure projects and public/private developments across roughly 20 cities within Johnson County. This effort includes capturing project details and progress, which is added to a comprehensive archive that informs future development decisions and preserves the rich history of the county. JCDPA remains committed to its original mission of documenting the dynamic nature of Johnson County's development, while also providing a valuable resource for researchers, historians, and residents.
